Dear Readers, Customers, Authors, and Friends:

We opened our doors in 2006 committed to bringing the world a broad mix of books. With three New York Times bestsellers, more than 1,500 books on our backlist and nearly 600 planned over the next year across several new imprints, we've been thrilled with the response we've received from the press, booksellers, and readers. In March 2011, we were ranked as America's fastest-growing small publisher by Publishers Weekly.

The core categories of our Skyhorse imprint include outdoor sport, adventure, team sports, nature, and country living, with a good dose of politics, true crime, history and military history, reference and humor—practical, literary, and general trade. Whether you are looking for a guide to fly tying, a lively read about organized crime or the world of politics, or a gift book, we hope you'll find what you are looking for on our list. With our new imprints, we are also publishing children's books as Sky Pony Press, regional sports books from Sports Publishing, practical books for creative professionals from Allworth Press, and literary fiction and nonfiction from Arcade Publishing.

In fall 2011, we will begin to co-publish the great Not For Tourists series of travel guides. In 2012, we will introduce the Helios series on philosophy, religion, and psychology. Helios seeks to create beautiful, high quality editions of modern classics and a home for intellectual discourse.

Skyhorse—distributed by W. W. Norton in the United States and Thomas Allen & Son in Canada—recently signed a deal with Constable & Robinson, one of England's oldest and most respected independent publishers, for distribution of its books into the United Kingdom and European Union.

I hope you enjoy our books as much as we enjoy publishing them.
