Reviews
This is an eclectic collection of more than 4,000 mostly North American state, province, and federal agencies; nonprofit and for-profit organizations; and educational institutionswith a few entries from other nations. Short descriptions and contact information are provided. Entries are alphabetically arranged by organization and state or country. As with any print directory, information can quickly go out of date (so users should check online), but most information here seems relatively current. There is a topical keyword index as well as a geographic index, which provides access to local names of similar entities not found in the alphabetical arrangement of the text. Suitable for public library collections in need of
materials on this specialized topic.”Booklist
