Marie W. Lawrence has loved to cook, bake, and write for as long as she can remember. She is the author of The Farmer’s Cookbook and Creative Cooking for One or Two. Lawrence calls upon her twenty-five years of public school experience—including coordinating an after-school kids’ cooking program and coordinating classroom healthy snack units—to create the recipes in The Organic Lunchbox. A mother of three, the author lives with her husband in Brattleboro, Vermont, where she enjoys walking her dog, gardening, and cooking with her grandchildren.
